    Onboard Accommodation:
    Accommodation on board the Eastern & Oriental Express is in one of three grades of beautifully appointed compartments: Presidential Suite, State Compartments and Pullman Compartments. All are air-conditioned, have an en suite shower room, washbasin and WC. Each compartment contains bottled mineral water, fresh fruit and flowers, bathroom amenities, “Welcome Aboard” newsletter, E& O Magazine and stationary pack with writing paper and pen. During dinner your steward will transform your compartment from daytime seating to a comfortable bedroom. Large windows offer excellent views of the ever-changing countryside.

    Pullman Compartment
    The E&O has 36 Pullman Compartments, daytime seating converts to one upper and one lower bed at night.

    State Compartment
    The E&O has 28 State Compartments, daytime seating converts to two single beds at night.

    Presidential Suite
    The E&O has 2 Presidential Suites, daytime seating converts to two single beds at floor level at night, with a separate dressing room. There is ample room to entertain one or two of your fellow guests in daytime configuration. Equipped with all the same facilities as the Pullman and State Compartments, with the addition of a complimentary bar.

    Observation Car
    As you journey through the tropical countryside and jungle terrain, past ancient temples, rivers and rice paddies experience the ever-changing scenery from the open-sided Observation Car. Perhaps one of the most popular carriages on board, the Observation Car & bar allows you to relax and socialise with fellow passengers.

  • 56 Days or more - One free, then 10% of the fare
