There are 2 pass types available:
South Island Pass: travel on the Coastal Pacific and TranzAlpine.
All Services Pass: travel on the Overlander, Coastal Pacific, TranzAlpine and InterIslander Ferries.

Coastal Pacific: Christchurch to Picton
Overlander: Auckland to Wellington
TranzAlpine: Christchurch to Greymouth
InterIslander Ferry: Interislander's Cook Strait Ferries travel between Wellington and Picton New Zealand. The 92km voyage takes 3 hours and has been described as "one of the most beautiful ferry rides in the world".

FARE TYPES Adult Child aged 2- 14 years inclusive Infant aged under 2 travel free when not occupying a seat VALIDITY 7 or 14 consecutive days RESERVATIONS Bookings for train travel are not necessary, however all travel and seating is subject to availability. Bookings for Interislander travel must be made 24 hours prior to scheduled departure time. You will be given an Interislander reference number which you must produce at the terminal on the day of travel. EXCHANGE OR REFUND Pass is non-exchangeable and non-refundable. LOST OR STOLEN RAIL PASSES Pass is non-exchangeable and non-refundable if lost or stolen.
