How does e-ticketing work?
When the booking is finalised, you will receive an email with the actual ticket as an attachment. It is strongly recommended that you send this attachment via email to your customers to allow them to print their ticket and to provide them with a record for future reference. Printing is possible from any printer, as long as tickets are printed on white A4 paper.  The ticket must be printed prior to the traveller’s arrival at the station as there are no facilities for printing these tickets at any train station.
When in Europe, customers will be required to show their tickets upon request, together with an acceptable form of identification such as their passport or an ID Card.

Note: Issuance of TGV e-tickets require the date of birth for each traveller. This is an added security process required by the rail provider.

Q: Is the attached document that I will receive, the actual ticket?
A: Yes it is. Customers are required to print this ticket prior to arriving at their departing station. Presentation of this ticket is required for boarding.

Q: Can my clients reprint their e-ticket if they have lost it?
A: Yes, they can re-print their ticket as many times as they want, as the ticket is valid for one train/date and on a designed seat only.

Q: What to do if my client lost the e-ticket email?
A: You can resend this email as many times as necessary.



E-VOUCHERS


E-vouchers are issued on the following services:
   British Trains (ATOC)
   AMTRAK (USA)
   ViaRail (Canada)

How do e-voucher work?
When the booking is finalised, you will receive an email with a voucher as an attachment. It is strongly recommended that you send this attachment via email to your customers to allow them to print their ticket and to provide them with a record for future reference. This document is not a valid ticket; customers must exchange this voucher at the departing railway station prior to boarding the train. It is recommended that customers arrive at the station at least 30 minutes prior to departure in order that have sufficient time to exchange voucher.

There are 2 options for exchanging the voucher:
Travellers can contact railway staff at the tickets office.
Travellers can scan (where available) or enter their reservations number at any of the ticket kiosks located through the train station.
