Scenic Journey Inclusions
Swiss Scenic Journeys are a great way to experience the best of the Swiss Alps and some of Switzerland’s most picturesque cities. These journeys offer the convenience of purchasing a package with the freedom of independent travel. There are no escorts or tour guides to hurry you along, so you can explore at your own pace, secure in the knowledge that your accommodation is booked and your rail tickets arranged. Journeys can be upgraded, additional days and can be taken in reverse.

This journey includes:
• Swiss Card Three White Peaks (6 transfers) including. excursions Mt Titls, Jungfraujoch and Glacier 3000 in 2nd class from/to Swiss border or airport
• 2 nights in Lucerne including breakfast
• 3 nights in Interlaken including breakfast
• Any additional tickets for optional excursions to travel by rail, boat, postal coaches and cable cars can be purchased at 25–50% of the regular fares

Itinerary
The tour operates from 1 January – 30 October and 26 November – 31 December:

Day 1:
Transfer from any Swiss airport or border to Lucerne.
Overnight in Lucerne

Day 2:
Enjoy a ride in the first revolving gondola to Mount Titlis. 3020 m/10’000 ft. In Lucerne you board the LSE-train to Engelberg. There a small gondola takes you up to the Trübsee. You continue your trip by another gondola to Stand. Finally the revolving gondola takes you up to Mount Titlis. For a spectacular, close-up insight into a glacier, you visit the glacier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift.

Day 3:
Travel from Lucerne to Interlaken on the GoldenPass Line, time for leisure or optional excursion in Lucerne or Interlaken.

Day 4:
The beautiful Bernese Oberland! First from Interlaken Ost via Grindelwald or Wengen to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. Then by Jungfrau Railway via the Eiger Glacier to the Jungfraujoch – at 3454 m/11,333 ft the highest railway station in Europe. Views of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in the Alps.
Overnight in Interlaken

Day 5:
Excursion to Glacier 3000 – The View of the Alps: Board a regular train or the GoldenPass Panoramic (mandatory seat reservation) via Zweisimmen to the noble city of Gstaad. Here one can take the postal bus to Col du Pillon (Glacier 3000) where you board the panoramic cable car which takes you to the eternal snow at 3000 metres in just 15 minutes. From the mountain top station you have access to all the glacier adventures by Ice Express Chairlift. Experience the snow glacier either on optional add-ons on spot such as a dog sled ride, a tour with the snow bus, a spectacular glacier walk along a wellmarked train or enjoy stunning views of the most famous alpine peaks – Jungfrau, Matterhorn and Mont Blanc. To increase your adrenaline level, you may take a ride on the Alpine Coaster, the world’s highest bobsleigh track.
Overnight in Interlaken.

Day 6:
Departure to Swiss border or airport or continue your stay and discover more of Switzerland at your own pace.

Journeys can also be made in the opposite direction.

It is possible to request a hotel, however this cannot be guaranteed.

Child Rules
Child up to 5 inclusive: free of charge in the hotels
Child up to 5 inclusive: sharing room with 2 paying adults, breakfast for child paid locally.
Child up to 5 inclusive: sharing room with 1 paying adult, the adult pays single supplement and breakfast for child paid locally.

Children from 6 up to 15 inclusive, accompanied by at least on parent, travel free on the Swiss Travel System network with the Swiss Family card (Please request at time of booking). A child (6-15yrs) requiring sole use of a room is considered as an adult and will be required to pay full supplement.

Cancellations and Modifications
Cancellation and modification fees will apply, the amount will be confirmed when changes required.
As soon as the booking is confirmed, cancellations and modifications will apply.
It is possible to modify a booking up to 2 business days before 1st hotel night.
Administration fees will apply to all cancellations.
If a client decides in Switzerland not to use the package, the below rules also apply.
Partial refunds of hotel nights and/or train days are not possible.

Modification fees:
Fees will apply to any change such as travel dates, hotels, additional nights, upgrades, downgrades made on existing bookings.
0% if cancellation is done up to 30 days before 1st hotel night
15% if cancellation is done between 29 and 6 days before 1st hotel night
30% if cancellation is done between 5 and 2 days before 1st hotel night
100% if cancellation is done 1 day or less before 1st hotel night
