Sognefjord in a Nutshell

The Sognefjord is Norway’s longest and deepest and lies in the middle of Norway’s Fjord region. The Sognefjord stretches more than 200 kilometres to the foot of the Jotunheimen Mountain and is considered one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world. This tour combines a boat journey on the beautiful Sognefjord, with spectacular train journeys of the Bergen and Flam Railways.

The tour operates May to September and with a choice of three different itineraries:

Train Myrdal – Flam (1h)
Boat  Flam – Bergen (5h30)

Journeys can also be made in the opposite direction.

• Tour includes 2nd class travel by train, bus and boat.
• Accommodation is not included.
• Reservations are not included but are recommended on some train journeys.
• Reservations are not mandatory on the fjord cruise or bus journey.
• Children 4–15yrs inclusive (on the 1st day of travel) travel for 50% of the adult fare
• Children 3yrs and under (on the 1st day of travel) travel free when sharing an adult passenger seat
• Journey must start at the latest 2 months after issuance date
• Once started, the journey must be completed within 2 months
• Tickets must be present unused for refund and a 85% refund applies to unused tickets returned within 6 months of issue date.
• Tickets are not refundable and cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or partially used.
