Rocky Mountaineer: Whistler Sea to Sky

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery between Vancouver and Whistler, all in the comfort and stress free environment of the train. During your three and a half hour train trip you’ll journey from Vancouver, through scenic Howe Sound and Cheakamus Canyon across a trestle bridge and past an extinct volcano and the snow-capped peaks of the Tantalus Mountains, before arriving in the world-renowned Whistler Village.

From June 14 until August 24, 2012, Rocky Mountaineer will introduce a bi-level Whistler Sea to Sky Climb Dome Service. Guests from across the globe will be able to ride the rails along the stunning Sea to Sky Corridor in our deluxe dome cars, offering panoramic views of the passing scenery. This is the first time it has offered the award-winning dome cars on the Rocky Mountaineer Whistler Sea to Sky Climb since the Province of Alberta chartered a daily train for invited VIPs, celebrities and athletes during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
