Rocky Mountaineer offers up to 2 levels of service:
• RedLeaf
• GoldLeaf
Rocky Mountaineer does offer a SilverLeaf Service, however this is currently only available on First Passage to the West journeys between Vancouver, Banff and Calgary.
Whichever level of service you choose, you can be assured of warm, friendly service, wonderful food and stunning scenery – making it a journey of a lifetime.
RedLeaf Service:
Relax in your reclining seat and enjoy commentary and impeccable service provided by your Onboard Attendant. Scrumptious meals are served at your seat, so you won’t miss a moment of the breathtaking scenery.
RedLeaf Service includes:
• Unwind in a single level classic rail coach featuring roomy reclining seats
• Start off your rail journey with a morning toast
• Savour a selection of exceptional chilled breakfasts and lunches served at your seat, and a glass of complimentary wine or beer at lunch
• Relax with complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and snacks while being entertained by commentary from your Onboard Attendant
• Overnight in hotel accommodation in Kamloops (guests are required to pack an overnight bag)
GoldLeaf Service:
The luxury and comfort of Rocky Mountaineer’s award winning GoldLeaf Service is simply beyond compare. The two level glass domed GoldLeaf coach allows you to take in the dazzling vistas upstairs and enjoy gourmet meals downstairs. GoldLeaf is Rocky Mountaineer’s most popular service.

There are 3 Rocky Mountaineer 2 day signature journeys, each offering the same quality on-board service with just a different stunning view out of the windows. The signature journeys are:
• Journey through the Clouds (Vancouver – Jasper)
• First Passage to the West (Vancouver – Banff/Calgary)
• Rainforest to Goldrush (Whistler – Jasper)
Your Journey through the Clouds includes:
• 2 days onboard the spectacular Rocky Mountaineer in your choice of RedLeaf Service or GoldLeaf Service
• Breakfast and lunch daily
• One night moderate accommodation in Kamloops
• Fuel surcharges
• GST/HST as applicable
Vancouver to Jasper (Eastbound)
Day 1: Vancouver to Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. On today’s journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser River valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade mountains, to the desert-like environment of the interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake and into Kamloops.
Overnight: Kamloops.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.
Day 2: Kamloops to Jasper
Your journey continues north and east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Once again you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet) the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park. Your rail journey ends on arrival in the resort town of Jasper this evening.

Jasper to Vancouver (Westbound)
Day 1: Jasper to Kamloops
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper in the Canadian Rockies to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. As you journey west and south you will be surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo mountains. Today’s highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet), Pyramid Falls, the climb over Yellowhead Pass and the journey along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops.

Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening.

Additional Information
Check in time:
Check-in a minimum of 30 minutes prior to ensure luggage is checked and tagged to the final destination. The train normally departs within 30 minutes after boarding.
Kamloops Accommodation:
It is not possible to advise the specific hotel that guests will be allocated until we have received final documentation from Rocky Mountaineer.
Information for smokers:
There is no smoking onboard the Rocky Mountaineer; this includes the vestibules between coaches, observation car and the restroom facilities.
Arrivals and Departures:
Transfers to and from stations, other than Kamloops are not included.
Please do not arrange connecting transportation on the day of arrival in any city.
Passenger rail travel in Canada is subject to unforeseen delays.
Transfers can be arranged upon request for an additional charge.

Terms and Conditions
Payment:
• A refundable deposit of $200 per person is required to confirm and Rocky Mountaineer 2-day service (i.e. First Passage to the West, Journey through the Clouds and Rainforest to Gold Rush). The deposit is refundable only if the journey requested is not available.
• A refundable deposit of $300 per person is required to confirm any Rocky Mountaineer vacation package (except cruise packages). The deposit is refundable only if the journey requested is not available.
• A refundable deposit of $700 per person is required to confirm any Rocky Mountaineer and Alaskan cruise vacation packages. The deposit is refundable only if the journey requested is not available.
• Full payment is required to confirm any service requested within 65 days of the travel date. Once any Rocky Mountaineer product is confirmed cancellation penalties will apply
• Balance of payment for Rocky Mountaineer and Alaskan cruise vacation packages is due no later than 80 days prior to departure date.
• Balance of payment for Rocky Mountaineer 2-day services and vacation packages (except cruise packages) is due no later than 65 days prior to departure date.
Cancellation and Administration Fees:
• Cancellation of cruise packages made more than 81 days prior to the departure date result in a loss of deposit paid; cancellations for Rocky Mountaineer 2-day services or vacation packages (except cruise packages) made more than 66 days prior to the departure date result in a loss of deposit paid.
• Cancellation of cruise packages made within 80 days prior to departure are completely non-refundable.
• Amendments made more than 66 days prior to the departure date incur an amendment fee of $50 per person; an amendment fee will not apply to the first change only if it is an addition or upgrade of service - charges will apply after this time. A change in train departure date is considered a cancellation and penalties will be calculated based on the date cancellation is advised.
• Cancellations made to rocky mountaineer 2-day services and vacation packages (except cruise packages) 51 - 65 days prior to departure date incur a cancellation penalty of 50% of the total package price; cancellations made within 50 days prior to departure are non-refundable.
• Amendments made 31 - 65 days prior to departure date incur an amendment fee of $100 per person.
• Amendments made 15 - 30 days prior to departure date incur an amendment fee of $150 per person.
• No changes are permitted less than 15 days prior to departure date, these requests are treated as a cancellation and 100% of a new fare must be paid.
• Any request for refunds must be directed in writing to Rail Tickets within 30 days of the final package travel date. No refunds will be made because of airline delays, unused services or other acts beyond the control of Rocky Mountaineer.
