As the name suggests, this high-speed train operates between Paris and Germany, linking Paris with Hannover, Hamburg and Munich. Specifically designed for the overnight traveller, the train offers a variety of sleeping accommodation, which will ensure you awake at your destination refreshed after a good night sleep.

Couchettes (pronounced “koo-shets”) are open bunks in a compartment, which accommodate six passengers. Couchettes have a pillow, sheet and blanket. The compartments can be either single sex or mixed; so be prepared to sleep in your street clothes if sharing. Restroom facilities are located at the end of each car.

A dining car is available on the Paris-Berlin section only.
A catering service including dinner and breakfast is on offer with a wide range of food and drinks.
Breakfast is not included for customers in seats and couchettes and must be paid for separately.
As the dining car is operated on the Paris-Berlin section, passengers on the other Paris-Germany Night routes wishing to have breakfast must book this in advance with the train crew at the beginning of the journey.

Fares
Services can only be booked up to 90 days in advance.
Reservations are mandatory.
Fares types:
Adult Full Fare: No conditions
Child Full Fare: Valid for children aged 4-11yrs
Youth: Valid for travellers 12-25yrs
Senior: Valid for travellers 60+yrs
Leisure: Fares valid for round trip only with a minimum one night stay away.
Book Early: Must be purchased a minimum 14 days in advance
Pass 1: Applies for holders of any pass covering the whole route
Pass 2: Applies for holders of any pass covering at least one of the countries travelled through
Passholder fares:
• Pass needs to be validated prior to boarding the train.
• Flexi pass holders need to use a travel day on their Flexi pass.
• The class of service of the ticket must match the class of service on the rail pass.
• Pass 1 fares applicable to passes covering Benelux, France and Germany on Paris-Berlin/Hamburg route or France and Germany on Paris-Munich route.
• Pass 2: fares applicable to passes covering Benelux, France and Germany
Exchange/Refund
Exchange and refund policies vary depending on the type of fare purchased.
Exchanges, to exchange a ticket, client must buy a new ticket and then send the unused stamped ticket back to the issuing office for a refund.
Refunds, when authorized, can only be performed in the issuing country.
Special cancellation fees apply to some fares.

Lost or stolen tickets are neither refundable nor replaceable.
Reservations are not refundable.
Check-in Procedures
There are no check-in or customs procedures prior to boarding.
Ticket control and passport checks will occur on board the train.
