Onboard Services
Deluxe:
ÖBB offers luxury class overnight travels in the double-decker sleeper cars to Zurich and Bregenz.
Deluxe Sleepers feature:
• Comfortable bed
• Table and chairs
• Private bathroom with washbasin, shower and  toilet
In the evening: mineral water, sweets/fruit, welcome drink, daily newspaper
In the morning: extensive breakfast (prepared as per your choice)
The train staff will be happy to serve additional beverages and snacks at an additional charge
From the panorama window on the upper floor enjoy a fantastic view on the night landscapes passing by.

Sleeper:
Depending on the design of the carriage used, there may be a choice between sleeper cabin classes; Tourist (T4, T3, T2), Double, Special or Single.
ÖBB’s sleeper coaches have one to four beds per compartment and sanitary facilities. If you fold up your bed in the morning, you will have a small, comfortable lounge.

Couchettes:
Couchette compartments are often booked by families and small travel groups. They have four to six beds per compartment. For every couchette passenger, there is a blanket, sheet and pillow with fresh pillowcase. The washrooms can be found at the end of the carriages.

Seats:
Reclining seat carriages are 2nd class only
The toilets can be found at the ends of the carriages.

Ladies’ Compartment:
ÖBB’s ladies’ choice! Ladies travelling alone prefer to be undisturbed on overnight trips. ÖBB has on some evening connections special ladies’ compartments with six seats. In addition, compartments in couchettes, to which the train staff is instructed to pay special attention. These can be reserved up to three months in advance.

On Board Dining:
Breakfast is included for deluxe class, sleeper and couchette.
Snacks and drinks must be paid to the sleeping car steward, they are not included in the ticket price.

Fares
Services can only be booked up to 90 days in advance.
Reservations are mandatory.

Fares types:
Adult:
Child: aged 6-14yrs.
Passholder fare:

Passholder fares:
Pass needs to be validated prior to boarding the train.
Flexi pass holders need to use a travel day on their Flexi pass.
The class of service of the ticket must match the class of service on the rail pass.
Passholder fares applicable to all passes which cover Austria.

Exchange/Refund
Exchange and refund policies vary depending on the type of fare purchased.
Exchanges, to exchange a ticket, client must buy a new ticket and then send the unused stamped ticket back to the issuing office for a refund.
Refunds, when authorized, can only be performed in the issuing country up to 60 days after the train departure date.
Special cancellation fees apply to some fares.
Refund administrative fees apply
Lost or stolen tickets are neither refundable nor replaceable.
Reservations are not refundable.

Check-in Procedures
No check-in procedures before boarding the ÖBB Night Trains.
The check- in is proceed directly by the sleeping car steward.
Ticket control and passport checks will occur on board the train.

Many rail passes and tickets are non refundable and cannot be reissued, our Rail Protection Plan offers peace of mind knowing that you are financially covered if things do go wrong.
