Couchettes:
Couchettes (pronounced “koo-shets”) are open bunks in a compartment, which accommodate six passengers. Couchettes have a pillow, sheet and blanket. The compartments can be either single sex or mixed; so be prepared to sleep in your street clothes if sharing. Restroom facilities are located at the end of each car.

Fares
Services can only be booked up to 90 days in advance.
Reservations are mandatory.
Fares types:
Adult: No conditions
Child: Valid for children aged 4-11yrs
Leisure: Advance purchase recommended.
Passholder: 2 different fare types available depending on the type of pass held.
Passholder fares:
Pass needs to be validated prior to boarding the train.
Flexi pass holders need to use a travel day on their Flexi pass.
The class of service of the ticket must match the class of service on the rail pass.
Passholder fares applicable to Eurail Global, Eurail Select Pass and Eurail two country pass including France.
Special passholder fares are available for France Rail Pass holders.
Exchange/Refund
Exchange and refund policies vary depending on the type of fare purchased.
Exchanges, to exchange a ticket, client must buy a new ticket and then send the unused stamped ticket back to the issuing office for a refund.
Refunds, when authorized, can only be performed in the issuing country up to 60 days after the train departure date.
Special cancellation fees apply to some fares.
Refund administrative fees apply
Lost or stolen tickets are neither refundable nor replaceable.
Reservations are not refundable.
Check-in Procedures
There are no check-in or customs procedures prior to boarding however for night trains we strongly recommend to arrive in advance to find the right coach and accommodation booked.
