Frecciarossa trains travel at up to speeds of 300 kms per hour ensuring a quick, comfortable and safe journey between Italy’s main centres; Rome, Florence, Milan and Naples.

Frecciargento trains reach speeds up to 250 kms per hour. The Frecciargento trains are dedicated to passengers travelling between Rome and Venice, Verona, Bari/Lecce, Lamezia Terme/ReggioCalabria. The trains are designed to offer the best level of comfort.

Fares
Services can only be booked up to 60 days in advance.
Discounted fares are offered for holders of certain passes, it is necessary to purchase passholder fare.

Fare application:
Adult:
Child: 4-11yrs
Passholder: valid for holders of selected passes.

Passholder fares:
Holders of passes will have to use one day of validity from the pass and pass must be validated prior to boarding the train.
Customers are not allowed to purchase a first class passholder fare with a second class pass.
Valid for holders of Eurail Global Pass, Eurail Select Pass (including Italy), Eurail France-Italy Pass, Eurail Greece-Italy and Eurail Italy Pass.

Exchange/Refund
Exchange and refund policies vary depending on the type of fare purchased.
Lost or stolen tickets cannot be refunded.
Cancellation fees apply to some fares.

Check-in and Immigration Procedures
There is no special check-in procedure required to board these trains.

Connections to Airports
From Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport to Rome: Leonardo express is the NON-STOP shuttle service between Fiumicino Airport and Roma Termini Station. This service is guaranteed also in the event of a strike (if necessary, the trains will be replaced by buses).

Milano Malpensa airport: Daily connections to Malpensa Airport with Frecciarossa Trains.

Pisa Airport "Galileo Galilei": connection between Pisa Centrale Station and Pisa Airport by Shuttle trains.

Punta Raisi "Falcone - Borsellino" Airport: Trinacria express connection between Palermo Centrale Station and Punta Raisi Falcone-Borsellino Airport.
