Great food is hard to find when you're rushing to catch your train. The Café Acela menu will not only satisfy your hunger cravings but delight your palate. The café is open to all Acela Express passengers throughout the journey.

Café Acela menu features freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, soup and craft beers. With most items priced under $7 and ready in minutes.
MasterCard, American Express and Visa are all accepted for payment in Café cars.

AmtrakConnect WiFi:
Amtrak offers WiFi service in select stations and trains. Stay productive, or simply sit back and have some fun while en route to your destination. AmtrakConnect WiFi is free of charge on board Acela Express as well as being available in the following stations:

Quiet Car:
Customers must strictly limit conversation and speak only in quiet, subdued tones. If you'd like to carry on an extended conversation, you will need to relocate to another car.

Customers may not use any devices making noise, including: mobile phones, pagers, handheld games without headphones, laptop computers with audible features, enabled portable CD or DVD players without headphones.

Customers using headphones must keep the volume low enough so that the audio cannot be heard by neighboring passengers.

Quiet Car seating cannot be guaranteed.

ClubAcela Lounges:
• Access to ClubAcela lounges with a same-day Amtrak ticket in Boston South, New York Penn, Philadelphia 30th Street and Washington DC Union stations.

Fares
Acela Express services can only be booked up to 11 months in advance.

Fare application:
Adult: 16yrs and over
Child (2-15yrs): child fares are only available on weekend services

Children travel for half-price when accompanied by a full fare-paying adult.
Two children are permitted per adult fare.
One child under 2 years old may ride free with each fare-paying adult.

Exchange/Refund
After departure: Cancellation penalties apply.
If cancellation occurs whilst in the USA, customers must call 1 800 872 7245 to make effective the cancellation so they can try to claim for a refund once they are back home.
